Crowded Kitchen Players will hold auditions for their August and October productions on Sunday May 31 2-4pm and Monday June 1 7-8:30pm.
Auditions for both original plays, written by Ara Barlieb, will be held in The Kitchen at 1680 Minesite Road, Allentown, PA.
"The Perfect Fit" is a story inspired by the true-life quest of an unpublished screenwriter hoping to sign an aged and elusive Oscar winning actor for his film.
In need of: a male and two females ages 60 and up, and two males ages 25 to 50.
"The Perfect Fit" will be performed August 1-3 & 7-9 at Between The Lines Studio Theatre in Allentown, PA.
"Weimar" is set at a raucous holiday party in Berlin, Germany, December 1932, just a month before President Hindenberg names Adolf Hitler to the post of Chancellor.
"Weimar" is an irreverent costume drama that will feature several original cocktail party songs by Easton native Charlie Barnett, although it is pointedly not a musical.
"Weimar" needs six males and six females of any and all ages. The actors needn’t be trained singers.
"Weimar" will be performed October 2-18 at The Ice House in Bethlehem, PA.
